This new modernist townhouse posed various design challenges for Robert Mills Architects. Difficult site condition, including slopes and restrictive covenants, ensured the design was reflective of the topography and it's inner city context. The boundaries between inside and out are deliberately blurred in order to maximize exposure to the Jack Merlo designed gardens which lead to valley views beyond
